Shipping & Lead Times

How fast do you ship?

In-stock prebuilts: usually dispatch the next working day via DPD or Parcelforce.
Custom builds: allow 3–5 working days for assembly, testing, and packing.

Do you offer weekend delivery?

Saturday services may appear at checkout depending on your postcode and courier availability.

How do you pack PCs?

We use strong outer cartons plus internal packing to protect the GPU and cooler. Remove any internal transit foam before first power-on.

Returns & Warranty

What’s your returns policy?

You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to tell us you’d like to return it. Email support@dlbuilds.co.uk for instructions. Please return items in good condition with all accessories and packaging. Refunds are processed promptly after inspection.

What warranty do I get?

1-year hardware warranty on PCs plus lifetime technical support. If something isn’t right, we’ll help diagnose and repair. See Warranty & Repairs for details.

What if my PC arrives faulty/DOA?

Email us right away with your order number and photos/video. We’ll run quick checks and arrange repair/replacement as needed, fast and fair.

Builds & Performance

Do you overclock? Is there bloatware?

No forced overclocks. We prioritise stability, sensible fan curves, and temps. And no bloatware, clean Windows with drivers and updates only.

How do you test systems before shipping?

BIOS updates where needed, memory profile validation (XMP/EXPO), stress tests, game-like loads, and thermal checks. We ship once stable.

Can I choose parts or request changes?

Yes! Use our Build Your Own PC page. Tell us your budget, games, and preferences; we’ll spec something sensible and explain the trade-offs.

Setup & Troubleshooting

No display / black screen — help?

Connect your monitor to the graphics card (not the motherboard). Try a single DisplayPort/HDMI cable and the correct input. Check PCIe power cables are clicked in. Still stuck? Email us, a quick video helps.

Wi-Fi / Bluetooth not working?

Install the motherboard’s Wi-Fi/Bluetooth drivers (or let Windows Update pull them). If your board doesn’t include Wi-Fi, ask us for a USB Wi-Fi or PCIe card option.

How do I control RGB lighting?

If included, use the case/hub controller or your motherboard’s software (5V 3-pin ARGB). We’ll wire it neatly so either works; ask if you want a specific look.

Payments & Orders

What payment methods do you accept?

Major cards and Shop Pay/Apple Pay/Google Pay. Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

Can I change/cancel my order?

If we haven’t started the build, yes. Email us ASAP. If assembly/testing has begun, we’ll do what we can and explain options.

Can I change the delivery address after ordering?

Sometimes, contact us straight away. Once a parcel is with the courier, changes can delay delivery and aren’t always possible.

Upgrades & Compatibility

Can I upgrade later (RAM, storage, GPU)?

Yes, most builds have spare RAM slots and M.2 bays. Ask us for part advice to avoid compatibility headaches.

Will my old drives work?

SATA SSDs/HDDs and NVMe drives are usually fine, just check size (M.2 2280) and interface. We can migrate data if needed; ask for a quote.

Do I get Windows and drivers pre-installed?

Yes, clean Windows install with drivers and updates. No extra software you didn’t ask for.
