Shipping & Delivery Policy

At DLBuilds, every order is packed with care to make sure it arrives safely. Whether you’re ordering a full gaming PC, a motherboard bundle, a component, case, accessory, or upgrade part, we aim to get your order dispatched quickly and securely.

Processing & Dispatch Times

Dispatch times depend on the type of item ordered.

Built-to-Order Gaming PCs

Most gaming PCs are built to order. This allows us to fully assemble, configure, stress-test, and quality-check each system before dispatch.

Current build time: usually 3–5 working days

Your PC will be dispatched once it has passed our testing and final checks.

Components, Bundles & Other Items

In-stock items such as components, motherboard bundles, cases, accessories, and other hardware are usually dispatched faster than built-to-order PCs.

Typical dispatch time: 1–2 working days, unless stated otherwise on the product page.

If your order contains both a built-to-order PC and other items, they may be shipped together or separately depending on availability and packaging requirements.

Shipping Services

We use trusted UK courier services for reliable delivery.

Larger and higher-value items, such as gaming PCs, cases, and full systems, are securely packaged and shipped using an insured courier service where appropriate.

Smaller items may be sent using a suitable tracked postal or courier service depending on the size, value, and weight of the order.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • delivery location

  • parcel size and weight

  • item type

  • courier availability

Some larger items may have a higher delivery cost due to their size, weight, or insurance requirements.

Remote UK Areas & Delivery Surcharges

Some UK regions can cost more to deliver to due to courier surcharges. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Northern Ireland

  • Scottish Highlands

  • Scottish Islands

  • Isle of Man

  • Isle of Wight

  • Scilly Isles

  • Channel Islands

  • other remote UK postcode areas

Where applicable, any additional delivery charge will be shown at checkout before payment.

Remote areas may also take slightly longer to deliver depending on courier routes.

Delivery Estimates

Delivery estimates begin after dispatch, not from the date the order is placed.

Typical delivery times are:

UK Mainland 1–2 working days
Northern Ireland / Remote UK areas 2–4 working days
Islands / harder-to-reach areas May take slightly longer

These are estimates only. Couriers may occasionally experience delays outside of our control.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive tracking information by email where available.

Tracking updates may take a short time to appear after the courier has collected or scanned the parcel.

Packaging

All orders are packed carefully to suit the item being shipped.

Gaming PCs are packaged securely to help protect internal components during transit. In some cases, internal packaging may be used inside the PC case to reduce movement during delivery.

Please carefully remove any internal packaging before powering on your system.

Damaged or Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged, or something appears to be missing, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please include:

  • your order number

  • photos of the item

  • photos of the outer packaging

  • photos of any visible damage

This helps us raise the issue with the courier and resolve it quickly.

Please do not throw away the packaging until the issue has been reviewed.

Incorrect Delivery Details

Please make sure your delivery address is correct before placing your order.

If an incorrect address is entered, contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has been dispatched, we may not be able to change the delivery address.

Additional courier charges may apply if a parcel needs to be redirected, returned, or resent.

Collection

We do not currently offer in-person collection. All orders are shipped using courier or postal services.
